这首歌出自 James Blunt 的 专辑 Back to Bedlam。有的资料说它发表于2005年，有的说是04年，不管了。05年7月中旬左右，You’re Beautiful 慢慢的爬上了英国单曲榜的冠军宝座，一步步的：12 - 6 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 3 - 1。

James Blunt 作为维和部队的一员，曾在科索沃服役过，所以专辑中除了爱情、友情外，还有他对战争的感受。
有评论把他夸奖为“新 David Gray”（而 David Gray 又曾被称为“下一个 Bob Dylan”，瞧这关系~~~）甚至“男 Dido”，也有人挖苦说他的每一首歌都是一个味儿（”oh, I LOVE this guy…..what’s his name again?…..I like that song….sounds like the last one”）。
